Grover and his family have been part of my KLouWags world for many years, and I’ve been lucky enough to care for Grover himself since he was just 8 weeks old. I’ve watched him grow from the sweetest little puppy into the funny, loving, very opinionated guy he is today — and somewhere along the way, he collected quite a few nicknames. Bestie, G-Money, Grovy… the list goes on.

And if you know Grover, you know he is always judging. 😂 He has an opinion about pretty much everything and absolutely no problem letting you know it. It’s one of the million reasons this little guy has been my Bestie for all these years.

We’ve shared so many fun chapters together. Grover’s mama met her Prince Charming when Grover was still just a pup, and I eventually even got to be Grover’s date and “nanny” at their wedding. Getting to be there with my Bestie for such a special day is a memory I’ll always treasure.

One of the most special parts of loving Grover has been getting to know and love his whole family, too — including his wonderful family from the Philippines, who I’ve been lucky enough to know throughout the years. Whenever they visit, they have a way of making me feel like part of the family, and they hold such a special place in my heart. I’m so grateful for all of them.

And this October is extra special because Grover, his mama, and I are all celebrating our birthdays! Grover will be turning 6, and I’ve had the privilege of being his “nanny” since he was just 8 weeks old. There couldn’t be a more PAWfect month to celebrate one of KLouWags’ longtime little loves.

Happy birthday month, Bestie. Thanks for growing up with KLouWags. 💚
